We are currently seeking a Community Engagement Intern

Job Summary: The Community Engagement Intern supports residents within MCCA’s Community Level Outcomes area to identify community needs and priorities by coordinating and conducting a Needs and Priorities survey. The Community Engagement Intern would work closely with the Fund Development & Community Engagement Manager to design the survey using the Success Measures Data System. The Community Engagement intern would work with local resident leaders to collectively survey the designated area, as well as input all data into the database, assist in data analysis with the assistance of the Fund Development & Community Engagement Manager. The Community Engagement Intern would be expected to produce and present a final report summarizing the findings of the survey.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordination of neighborhood meetings for resident leaders
- Coordination and training of survey teams
- Data entry of survey results
- Assist in data analysis of survey results
- Production of report summarizing findings
- Assists the Fund Development & Community Engagement Manager in survey creation
- Weekly activity tracking
- Production of weekly planning & activity reports
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to interact with diverse groups of people in a positive and effective manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Social Networks
- Positive attitude
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze and track activity
- Access to reliable transportation
