
Countering Domestic Violence / Neville House, a program of Mid Central Community Action, Inc., seeks to hire a part-time Adult Therapist to provide individual and group counseling services to adult victims of domestic violence.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate dedication to client population and cultural sensitivity, effective therapeutic intervention techniques and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work and professional licensure required.

The postions are Full-Time Law Enforcement Advocate (to provide quality criminal justice advocacy services to victims of domestic violence identified on police reports by informing them of their right to protection through IDVA law and resources for safety and healing through CDV) and Full-Time Court Advocate (to provide quality legal advocacy services to assist victims of domestic violence through the Order of Protection process.)

Mid Central Community Action’s current Executive Director, John Burrill, will be retiring in 2010. The Board of Directors has begun a search to identify and hire an individual who will provide the vision and strong leadership for the further advancement of the agency as guided by its mission and values.
