One-on-one counseling designed to help you reach the best possible solution when faced with the loss of your home to foreclosure.  There are options available and we can help you understand those options and pursue the best one for your situation.  Mediation with your mortgage company is available.

To begin the process of working with a housing counselor, please visit the Illinois Hardest Hit Fund website, www.illinoishardesthit.org and fill out their application.  Select “Mid Central Community Action” as your counseling agency to work with MCCA.  We will contact you after the application and documents are complete to explain the next steps and schedule an appointment.
