Scholarships

MCCA’s Community Services Block Grant Program annually awards scholarships to residents of McLean and Livingston Counties.
The program is funded by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.
Interested non-traditional students registered at an Illinois accredited vocational school, community college, or four year college must:
- Complete and submit a Scholarship Application Package, available at our Bloomington and Pontiac offices. Deadline for submitting applications is May 1, 2009. After submitting an application package, schedule an initial interview with Laura G (309) 829-0691 ext 227, or email hsgcase@mccainc.org to verify income eligibility.
- Attend the Scholarship Review Committee Interview Meeting for all candidates, normally scheduled in late May or early June.
Scholarships are awarded for tuition and fees, textbooks, childcare, and transportation. A Scholarship Committee composed of educators, counselors, and community leaders will interview all income eligible applicants and make the determination of the awards.
